Today marks 10 year since the release of the first 3-dimensional Grand Theft Auto game in the series. I, personally cannot believe it has been 10 years. I remember I would get home from school and go straight onto my computer just to play Grand Theft Auto III for like 6 hours before I went to bed... and that was when I was 6 years old. Then it's successor, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was released, but we'll save that for next year when that game turns 10.
Grand Theft Auto III is available for the PlayStation 2, Microsoft Windows & Xbox. Last year, it was released digitally in the Apple Mac Store, purely for Macintosh computers, and it was made digitally for both PC & Mac via Steam. Thanks to the fact of it being 10 years since the game's release, and thanks to how handheld technology has advanced in the past decade, Rockstar Games are released Grand Theft Auto III on iOS & Android for the following devices:
- iOS: iPhone 4S & iPad 2.
- Android Phones: Droid X2, HTC Evo 2, LG Optimus 2X, Motorola Atrix & Samsung Galaxy S2.
- Android Tablet: Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad, Motorola Xoom & Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Finally, the fact of it being 10 years since Grand Theft Auto III was released inspired me to dish out my copy of the game and start playing it. I took a few screenshots which can be seen below:
